I recommend that before you begin your house hunting, you begin the loan pre-approval process.  Getting pre-approved requires that a lender verify your financial information, and it serves as their commitment to lend a specified amount based on that information.  It will give you a number of advantages:

  • First, when you do find the property, sellers will take your offer more seriously given that you have a lender that has committed to backing your offer.
  • Second, it does give the assurance that you're looking at homes you can confidently afford to finance.  Your efforts will be focused on properties that match your financing abilities.
  • Third, you'll have an edge over the other buyers who aren't pre-approved.  In situations where there are multiple offers on a property, this can be the difference between having your offer accepted or losing the property to another buyer.
I am eager to help you get pre-approved either through one of my preferred lenders, or any other lender you choose.  If you are interested, we can begin immediately, just click here.

When choosing a Real Estate Agent to represent you in the selling of your home, it is important to do your research!  Schedule a meeting with your potential Agent and ask questions such as:

  • How many homes has this agent sold in the past year?
  • Will she/he be active in the selling of my home?
  • What advertising opportunities will I be offered?
  • What is his/her knowledge of my neighborhood?
  • What have past clients said about their experience?
  • How is her/his staff involved in the selling of my home?
  • Does it seem like she/she is looking out for my best interest?

If you, or someone you know, is interested in putting their home on the market, please contact me for an appointment at 432.349.7242 or Janice.Murrell@gmail.com.
